Two Images

The top picture is a combination of the contour drawings I did of things in my room. I decided to place them on a piece of paper with words to label them. I wanted to focus on things that were familiar to me. Things that I am surrounded by. I am not sure why I ended up arranging them the way I did. I just put them in the way I thought they needed to be. I was thinking of artists that I studied while I was doing it. Not directly, but as a reference from memory. I thought about how they arranged things, but I wanted to make sure the picture was based on my own ideas. Something that I find difficult and akward. I also realize it is difficult to get myself to do these things I feel are uncomfortable so I tend to avoid them. I hope by understanding this, I will not avoid this and just do it as a fun project that might be a bit challenging.

The second picture is the drawing I did of the "Red Robe" painting I posted earlier. The only reason I posted this one is because I like it much better than the painting. It is looser and more interesting. The painting was boring and over worked.
